The trio of Skye Edwards, and brothers Ross and Paul Godfrey spent more time writing songs, combining influences from a wide range of styles including pop, lounge, film soundtracks, reggae, jazz, and electronica. The resulting album evinced a more mature and sophisticated sound that showed that Morcheeba had more to give than the majority of their trip hop peers.
