M.I.A. returns on Interscope Records with her fifth and potential final studio album, A.I.M. The vibrant new record features the politically charged lead single "Borders," which addresses the refugee crisis and the current global state of affairs – a topic that M.I.A., who escaped the violence of a civil war in Sri Lanka as a small child, has been vocal about throughout her career and continues to touch on in A.I.M. while follow-up "Go Off," is a hypnotic, bass-heavy amalgam of hip-hop, electro, and global beats – produced by Skrillex and frequent collaborator Blaqstarr. Further guests include former One Direction member Zayn Malik, DJ/producer Diplo, Dexta Daps and GENER8ION.
