The Congos - Heart Of The Congos (3xlp)

Jamaican vocal reggae band formed in the second half of the 1970s by [a296503] (previously in [a=the tartans]) and [a132585] ([a502678]). The group started recording at the Black Ark Studios for [a=Lee Perry], who added [a=Watty Burnett] to the lineup to handle the deeper chords. The group split in the early 1980's but reformed in the mid-1990's.
