American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Born August 13, 1939 in Nebraska, of Irish-American descent. Disappeared mysteriously on March 6, 1975 while traveling from California to Tennessee and the promise of a new life as a sessioneer in Nashville. Sullivan had started playing guitar at highschool in San Diego and in the mid-1960s joined his sister-in-law in local band The Survivors. In 1968 he relocated to Los Angeles where he released 2 albums, before he disappeared without a trace near Puerto de Luna in New Mexico, USA. Sullivan had had a residence at LA's Malibu bar where he performed nightly, and was always on the edge of fame - hanging out with movie stars like Harry Dean Stanton, performing on the Jose Feliciano show, even stealing a cameo in the ultimate hippie movie, Easy Rider.
